The high-masker running on empty. You hold it together all day and collapse when the door shuts. Somewhere along the way you learned it wasn't safe to trust your own signals, so you built a version of you that could pass. It worked, and it's wearing you down.
The newly-discovered. Diagnosed or self-identified, recently enough that you're still rereading your whole life through a new lens - relief that explains why things were hard, grief over how long you spent believing you were βdifficultβ or βtoo much.β
